Continuing his recovery from knee surgery earlier this month, Roger Federer's status for Indian Wells is uncertain.

Federer, who underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus, is still a star presence in the desert.

The BNP Paribas Open released a couple of videos featuring Federer's greatest hits from the tournament.

The Swiss avenged his Davis Cup defeat to John Isner with this victory in the 2012 final that was his fourth Indian Wells title.



Federer beat another American, James Blake, to cap his three-peat in the 2006 final.
