Federer Moon-Walks Ahead of Serena Clash

Roger Federer geared up for his galactic GOAT clash vs. Serena Williams moon-walking and meeting lobsters in western Australia.

The reigning Australian Open champion reprises his partnership with Belinda Bencic in Hopman Cup action.

Nadal: I'll Be 100 Percent Fit For Australian Open

The Swiss pair launch their Hopman Cup championship defense against the United States' squad of Serena Williams and Frances Tiafoe on New Year's day in Perth.

The Grand Slam king said he's pumped to play the player he calls the GOAT for what he believes is a once-in-a-lifetime clash.

"We'll probably play it down a little bit and say it's not that big of a deal for us, it's just another tennis match, but it really isn't because it's probably going to happen once and never again," Federer told the media in Australia. "That's why I hope we're both going to be injury free when that day comes around."

The 37-year-old Swiss will play for an Australian Open three-peat and his 100th career title when he opens defense of his Melbourne major title on January 14th.

Federer, who spent time training in Dubai with Stefanos Tsitispas, said he's put in nearly a month of intense training to prepare for the new season.

"I've been very happy with how the off-season went," Federer said. "The last three or four weeks have been very intense. I'm very excited and motivated for this next season.

"A lot of things need to happen to win any slam. I hope that again it will be the start of a great season for me because the last two seasons have been crazy good for me."

The 20-time Grand Slam champion also invited fans to attend his Friday practice session vs. David Ferrer free of charge at the RAC Arena in Perth.
