Suffering six straight losses to Simona Halep hasn't diminished Sloane Stephens' desire for another duel.
The US Open champion suffered her first final loss to Halep in the Roland Garros final before the Romanian repelled Stephens, 7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-4, in a rousing Rogers Cup final.

Stephens said she's eager to end that streak soon.
"Obviously losing to the No. 1 player in the world [in Montreal] is not too bad," Stephens told reporters at US Open media day. "Like I said, eventually I'm going to get her, and hopefully it will be soon."
It's been five years since Stephens swept Halep, 6-1, 6-1, in the Australian Open first round that was her last win over the Romanian.
Halep has won seven of nine career meetings against the American, including winning four of their last six meetings on North American hard courts where Stephens is typically at her best.
The French Open finalists both wear Nike and play similar styles. They're two of the fastest women in the sport, both are well-balanced off both wings, hit with accuracy and are adept on the counter-strike.
There's one thing they don't share: rivalry.
"Yeah, it's not a rivalry if you don't beat the person," Stephens said echoing a comment Martina Hingis once made about Anna Kournikova in a New York press conference years ago.
