Chung Withdraws From Toronto

Hyeon Chung won't be facing tennis hero Novak Djokovic in Toronto today.

The Australian Open semifinalist withdrew from the Rogers Cup with a back injury prior to his scheduled clash with Wimbledon champion Djokovic.

Lucky loser Mirza Basic replaced Chung in the field and will face Djokovic.

Tournament officials announced his withdrawal on Twitter.

Chung swept Djokovic in straight sets en route to the Melbourne final four in January.

Leg and back issues have plagued the Korean recently. Chung has not won back-to-back matches since reaching the Munich semifinals on red clay in May.
