Noskova Cracks Top 10 after Berlin Title, Eala Back in Top 30
Linda Noskova bulldozed the field at last week’s Berlin Open, showcasing her grass-court potential with a title run that featured just one dropped set and plenty of breathtaking power tennis.
The performance led to a breakthrough for the 21-year-old, who entered the Top 10 in Monday’s rankings at No.10. Noskova replaces Karolina Muchova in the elite group.

She is one of three players aged 21 or younger inside the Top 10, joining 19-year-olds Mirra Andreeva (No.5) and Victoria Mboko (No.9).
There weren’t many big moves near the top of the rankings this week, but a handful of players made notable gains.
Nottingham champion Marie Bouzkova (+5) rises to a career-high No.22, while Filipina trailblazer Alexandra Eala (+5) climbs to No.30, one spot shy of her career-high ranking of No.29.
Nikola Bartunkova, who nearly upset Aryna Sabalenka in Berlin, jumps 16 spots to a career-high No.46, while France’s Diane Parry rises 13 spots to a career-high No.47 after reaching the round of 16 in Berlin.
American Caty McNally climbs four spots to a career-high No.50 after reaching the second round in Nottingham.
Karolina Pliskova continues her climb, rising another 13 spots to No.74 after reaching the semifinals in Nottingham. It’s a remarkable comeback for the 34-year-old, who was ranked outside the Top 1000 at the Australian Open.
Turkey’s Zeynep Sonmez, who recently became the highest-ranked player in her country’s history, rises seven spots to a new career-high of No.54.
