Watch: Dane Sweeny Takes Chair to Shake Hands With Opelka in Brisbane
The 24-year-old Aussie continued a tradition that was started by Dudi Sela in 2014.

24-year-old Dane Sweeny – all 5’7″ of him – created the viral moment of Monday night at the Brisbane International when he took a chair to net to shake hands with 6’11” American Reilly Opelka after losing to the American 6-3, 7-5.
Opelka, one of five Americans already into the second round at the event, couldn’t help but laugh.
Sweeny’s not the first to try the trick. Dudi Sela once did the same thing after a loss to 6’10” Ivo Karlovic. Credit to Tennis TV for digging out the footage.
