The Finn-British team ended Salisbury’s bid to win a third consecutive title after losing to Salisbury and Skupski in the round-robin stage. Salisbury won the titles at the ATP Finals in 2022 and 2023 with Rajeev Ram and did not qualiry last year. His winning streak ends at 14 matches.

“Feels pretty amazing,” Heliovaara said. “I’ve been in the semis twice. There’s something good about Turin. I played this tournament three times: semis, semis, now win. I can’t complain much. I love the conditions indoors. That’s where I grew up in Finland obviously.”

“It’s really emotional actually to win the final event, the combination of all of that hard work, all of those kind of hours on the road,” Patten said. “We have some time off just around the corner, which everyone is looking forward to.”

Salisbury and Skupski dropped to 0-6 in ATP Finals on the year.
