Medvedev defeated Ilya Ivashka 7-6(8), 6-4 to set a semifinal with France’s Adrian Mannarino, while Auger-Aliassime eased past Karen Khachanov, 7-6(5), 6-4 to set a semifinal clash with World No.205 Rijthoven.

Auger-Aliassime improves to 20-6 lifetime on grass with his win. He has now reached five semifinals on the surface.

Van Rijthoven had never won an ATP level match until this week, but the Dutch wild card now has three wins under his belt after victories over Matthew Ebden (7-6(4), 7-6(9)), Taylor Fritz (6-7(9), 7-5, 6-4) and Hugo Gaston (7-6(2), 6-4).

“I am surprised to be in the semi-finals at an ATP event,” 25-year-old Van Rijthoven said, according to ATPTennis.com. “I think the performance overall today was very good from my side. I served very well again. One game I had chances on his serve and I took the chance and served it out.”
