The 31-year-old Kucova will play for her first WTA 250-level final tomorrow against either Kateryna Kozlova or Maryna Zanevska.
Today's tidy win came a day after Kucova's gritty 6-7(4), 7-6(7), 7-6(3) triumph over qualifier Ekaterine Gorgodze that spanned nearly four hours and sent her into the semifinals
Smacking her forehand into the corners with confidence, Kucova won 16 of 18 points sealing the opening set and taking a 2-0 lead in the second today.
Korpatsch closed to 3-4 before Kucova won eight of the last nine points to wrap up the win.
It's Kucova's first final since she won the WTA 125K Prague Open last September. Kucova pushed world No. 1 Ash Barty to three sets at the Miami Open in March before bowing 6-3, 4-6, 7-5.
