Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will make their return to grass next week, at Queen’s Club and Halle, respectively.

2025 Roland-Garros champion Alcaraz will take his place as the top seed at Queen’s, where he will face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the first round. The 2023 champion with then play Jordan Thompson or Jaume Munar in the second round. The World No.2 is seeded to meet Ben Shelton in the quarter-finals and could face Holger Rune or Jakub Mensik in the semi-finals.

Jack Draper, seeded No.2, is Alcaraz’s projected final opponent. Draper defeated Alcaraz at Queen’s Club last year in the round of 16, snapping the Spaniard’s 13-match winning streak on the surface.

Alcaraz will enter the grass-court season touting a 24-3 lifetime record on the surface.

Sinner In Halle

Jannik Sinner will look to shrug off his five hour and 29-minute defeat at the hands of Alcaraz in the Roland-Garros final at Halle, where he is the defending champion.

Sinner will face either 2023 champion Alexander Bublik or Alexandre Muller in the second round after a bye.

Sinner, 21-9 lifetime on grass, would face Tomas Machac in the quarterfinals if the seeds hold; he would face fourth-seeded Andrey Rublev in the semifinals, and could face either second-seeded Alexander Zverev or third-seeded Daniil Medvedev in the final, if the seeds hold.

Medvedev, two wins shy of his 400th career win, faces Daniel Altmaier in the first round, while Brazil’s Joao Fonseca, a wild card, will face Flavio Cobolli in round one, and meet the winner of Ugo Humbert vs Denis Shapovalov in the second round.

Also of note in the Halle draw is Stefanos Tsitsipas, who will be coached by Goran Ivanisevic on the grass this year. The Greek will face Italy’s Luciano Darderi in the first round.
