Aussie Alexei Popyrin capped off the best season of his career with the news of a lifetime. The 25-year-old World No.24 announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Amy Pederick.
Popyrin shared photos of himself on his knees, popping the question, with the caption “Forever with you.”
It has been a dream season in more ways than one for Popyrin, who claimed three ATP titles, including his first career Masters 1000 crown at Montreal. The Sydney native also produced his best Grand Slam performance to date, upsetting Novak Djokovic at the US Open in the third round to reach the second round of a major for the first time in his career.
