Canada’s Gabriel Diallo was rewarded for reaching his first ATP final last week with a fresh Top 100 ranking on Monday.

The 23-year-old Montreal native jumps 31 spots to No.87, and becomes the fourth ATP player to make a Top 100 debut after the US Open, along with Great Britain’s Jacob Fearnley, Switzerland’s Alexander Ritchard and China’s Bu Yunchaokete.

Diallo became the seventh Canadian man to ever reach an ATP final in Almaty last week. He earned four Top 100 wins on his way, including wins over No.23-ranked Alejandro Tabilo and No.31-ranked Francisco Cerundolo.

Diallo has now won 28 of his last 36 matches across all levels since his run to the Chicago Challenger title in July.

He is one of six ATP players making new career-high rankings inside the Top 100 this week, along with Jack Draper (18), Shang Juncheng (47), Zizou Bergs (68), Alexandre Muller (68) and Fearnley (92).

Race To Turin Update

With three weeks to go until the ATP Finals in Turin, the Top 10 saw no changes.

Casper Ruud (3,845) and Andrey Rublev (3,670) are currently holding down the final two spots, but Alex de Minaur (3,355) and Tommy Paul (3,135) aren’t far behind. Grigor Dimitrov (3,100), currently in 11th, still has room to make a push as well.

Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Aleander Zverev have already qualified, with Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic in good stead at four, five and six in the race respectfully.
