New York—Welcome to the Top-10 Emma Navarro.

Navarro rises four spot to No.8 in the world. She started the season ranked at 31 and has progressed at the Slams steadily, reaching the third round at the Australian Open, the fourth round at Roland-Garros and the quarterfinals at Wimbledon.

US Open runner up Jessica Pegula returns to her career-best ranking of No.3 after reaching her maiden Grand Slam final in Flushing Meadows.

Badosa Back in Top 20

The biggest riser inside the Top 20 was Paula Badosa, who jumps nine spots to No.20 after reaching the quarterfinals. Beatriz Haddad Maia, also a quarterfinalist in New York, rises from No.21 to No.16.

The biggest riser inside the WTA’s Top 100 was Romania’s Elena-Gabriela Ruse, who climbs from No.122 to No.100 after reaching the third round in New York. She could have gone higher – she held a match point against Badosa in the third round.

Naomi Osaka jumps 13 spots back to No.75, while Sara Errani jumps 20 spots to No.76.
