With temperatures warming up and the time change to allow sunlight to persist later into the day, the opportunities for many to play tennis are drastically increasing. Unfortunately, along with the chance for more play, it also means an increase in one of the most inconvenient injuries, which is made worse by the fact that it is largely avoidable with some precaution. As a former sufferer, I am going to take some time to explain how it happens, and what can be done to alleviate or eliminate the pain.
