The Czech Republic will play for its 10th Fed Cup championship on an indoor hard court at the Rhenus Sport arena in Strasbourg, November 12-13th.
The two nations have split six prior meetings; the Czech Republic beat France, 3-1, in the 2015 semifinals.
France is playing for its first Fed Cup championship since 2003.
Captain Amelie Mauresmo has not yet named her starters. It's expected Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic, who led France to a 3-2 victory over The Netherlands in the April semifinals, will again headline for the host.
The Czechs have won the Fed Cup four times in the past five years.
Playing just the fourth Fed Cup match of her career, Pliskova defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, 6-3, 6-4, in 95 minutes last November to force the first decisive doubles match in a Fed Cup final since 2011 when the Czechs beat Russia in Moscow.
Playing her first Fed Cup doubles match, Pliskova partnered Strycova to a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Pavlyuchenkova and Elena Vesnina clinching the Czech Republic's pulsating 3-2 Fed Cup final conquest in Prague.
