Rafael Nadal will bid for his tenth straight doubles victory on Sunday when he and his partner Pablo Carreno Busta take on Jack Sock and Bernard Tomic in the China Open doubles final.

Nadal, who won the Olympic Gold medal in Rio partnering Marc Lopez, was eliminated from the singles draw by Grigor Dimitrov on Friday.

The Spaniard duo started their tournament by defeating No.3-seeded Rohan Bopanna and Daniel Nestor before defeating the Chinese pairing of Mao-Xin Gong and Zhang Ze to reach the semis.


In the semis Nadal and Carreno Busta and Nadal knocked off the Bryan Brothers, 7-5, 6-4. Carreno Busta is into his third consecutive doubles final, while Nadal will bid for his 11th career doubles title.

Sock will bid for his 7th ATP doubles title, while Tomic will bid for his first.
