Grandmother Judy Murray told BBC's Scotland's Mornings Show the couple welcomed a "lovely, happy, healthy baby boy" to the world last week in London.
The baby boy, whose name has not yet been announced, is the couple's third child joining two sisters.
"It's lovely news, lovely to have a little boy to go with the two little girls," Judy Murray told BBC's Scotland's Mornings. "I'll leave it to Andy and Kim to fill in all the details."
The couple, who are both 32, are the proud parents of two daughters. Eldest daughter Sophia was born in February of 2016 and daughter Edie was born October of 2017.
Andy and Kim married in Dunblane, Scotland in April, 2015.
The two-time Olympic gold medal champion, who led Great Britain to the 2015 Davis Cup championship, will play for Great Britain in the new World Cup-style Davis Cup finals starting on November 18th in Madrid.
