Serena Williams is a major champion and a big Belieber.

Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, the 22-time Grand Slam champion played a game of "Who'd you rather?"

It seems Serena has a soft spot in her heart for fellow former No. 1 John McEnroe. But pop star Justin Bieber turns out to be Williams' true celebrity crush.

The fun begins at the 23-minute mark of the video above.

Given the choice between Bieber and actor Idris Elba, Serena tells the talk show host: "I am definitely going with Justin Bieber."

"It's just always going to be Justin Bieber," Serena says.

"That is a surprise to all of us," Ellen replies.

The Wimbledon champion also discusses performing on stage with Beyonce at Madison Square Garden.

"It's a lot of pressure because you don't want to mess up," Williams said. "Bey is so great, she's such a wonderful performer. And I've performed, tennis-wise in front of thousands of people, but not like crowds that huge.

"So all I could think was 'Serena don't miss your note, don't miss your note.' But what did I do I missed my note. But then I was like 'Okay, this is so much fun I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave.' But eventually they told me in my ear, 'Serena, get off the stage.' "
