Milos Raonic has parted ways with his coach Carlos Moya, but will remain under the guidance of longtime coach Riccardo Piatti. Piatti, a former coach of Novak Djokovic and Ivan Ljubicic, began working with Raonic late in 2013.
Raonic made great strides in 2016 with former World No.1 Moya on the team. He reached the semifinals at the Australian Open and the finals at Wimbledon, and finished at a career-high year-end ranking of No.3. Raonic also worked with John McEnroe for the grass season, but the pair was under fire due to McEnroe’s commentating job with ESPN during Wimbledon. The pair did not work together at the U.S. Open and it is unclear what role McEnroe will have with Raonic going forward.
