According to Stephanie Myles of OpenCourt.CA, Madison Keys is searching for a new coach after ending a productive partnership with Swede Thomas Hogstedt. The pair worked together from April to the end of the season and Keys produced a career-best season that saw her qualify and make her debut at the WTA Finals in Singapore.
According to Myles, Keys has already selected a new coach but is waiting to make the decision public (Keys has not announced the split with Hogstedt either).
Keys went 47-17 on the season with one title. She went 12-4 at the majors but lost in the round of 16 at each Slam—three times to players ranked outside of the Top 50. Keys also reached the Olympic semifinals but failed to medal.
The American will turn 22 in February.
