Naomi Osaka is eager to eliminate the fear factor.
The two-time Grand Slam champion stars in a new Nike ad titled "Break the Mold" that features some of Osaka's off-court adventures chronicled on social media—as well as her 2020 mantra: embrace the unknown.

"I used to be extremely scared of the future," says Osaka. "Because not knowing is also scary. But I realize you have to embrace the unknown and you can only control what's happening now."
Osaka says the approach has helped her maximize living in the moment.
"So the me right now is constantly putting in full thought and effort into all of the things I love," Osaka says. "And I hope the future me is doing the same."
