The United States Fed Cup team will try to derail defending champion Czech Republic on a Har-Tru track.
The USA will host the Czech Republic in the Fed Cup semifinals staged on a green clay court at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida, the International Tennis Federation announced today.

A 4,000-seat temporary stadium will be built at the Tampa Tennis Academy for the semifinals.
U.S. captain Kathy Rinaldi is putting the Czechs on their least favorite Fed Cup surface in recent years.
The USA defeated Germany on Maui last month to advance to the final four.
The Czech Republic rides a 10-tie winning streak into the semifinals with nine of those victories coming on hard court as the Czechs have captured five Fed Cup championships in the last six years.
However, dirt has been a dilemma for the Czechs, who have lost three of the last four Fed Cup ties they've played on clay since 2007.
