Playing Roland Garros is a childhood dream for Frances Tiafoe.

Running into Rafael Nadal in the locker room took the experience to an entirely different level.

The 19-year-old Tiafoe pushed Fabio Fognini to five sets before falling in the French Open first round.

Tiafoe discusses his rise and goals in a new interview with Mary Carillo set to air on Tuesday, June 20th on HBO's Real Sports. See Tiafoe talk Rafa in the interview above.

In an interview with Tennis Now writer Don Henthorne conducted after he turned pro, Tiafoe said he believes there is potential for a young wave of Americans to impact the ATP Tour.

"I don’t think there is any pressure," Tiafoe said. "There are some really good young Americans coming up, such a good group, like (Tommy) Paul and (Taylor) Fritz in the finals of the French and (Reilly) Opelka winning Wimbledon and there are many others, so I think I am only one of many.

"I don’t really feel like the only person who has a chance to be great. I’m pretty happy there are a lot of other guys and we can push each other. Hopefully, we can all get to the top together, that would be great."
