It's the first Fed Cup final in Belarus' history and the nation could get an added boost as Victoria Azarenka, who returned to the pro circuit after giving birth to son Leo, late last year, has suggested she plans to play the final.
The United States is playing for a record-extending 18th Fed Cup championship and first Fed Cup in 17 years. CoCo Vandeweghe accounted for all three points in the USA's 3-2 victory over Czech Republic at Saddlebrook in April.
Team USA swept Belarus, 5-0, in the only prior Fed Cup clash between the nations in a 2012 World Group II first-round tie.
