The Big 3 of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have combined to claim 12 consecutive major championships.

Two-time Roland Garros runner-up Thiem says we will see a maiden major champion in 2020.
"I think we challenged [the Big 3] already a lot. We also beat them especially on Masters 1000 stages and the ATP Finals," Thiem told the media in Australia ahead of this week's ATP Cup. "I think the last stage we have to conquer is the Grand Slam stage, and I really think we'll see a new Grand Slam champion in 2020.
"I really hope that it's me, but you cannot guarantee anything. There are also many other very strong guys who can achieve that."
The last man to win a maiden major was Marin Cilic at the 2014 US Open.
Thiem says the Big 3 are still major favorites, but envisions NextGen stars stepping up at the Slams.
"Maybe it's also not happening and Big Three are taking all four," Thiem said. "But we are trying everything to achieve top position, to achieve the biggest titles, Grand Slam titles."
