World No. 1 Nadal will play Karen Khachanov in Friday's semifinals. Khachanov defeated Hyeon Chung 7-6(4), 6-4 in today's quarterfinals. Djokovic will take on ATP Finals champion Stefanos Tsitsipas in the other semifinal. Tsitsipas topped Andrey Rublev 6-3, 6-4.
"Obviously, playing against Rafa is never easy, especially the last few matches I lost all the matches," Khachanov said. "It's always nice to play him. We are good outside the court and he's a a great sportsman
"I think everybody loves him here and all around the world so I hope we can show good tennis tomorrow."
The 12th edition of the exhibition event, which will feature four of the world's top six-ranked players, will climax with the final on Saturday, December 21st.
