Two impeccable two-handed backhands collide when US Open finalist Daniil Medvedev meets Hyeon Chung in his Abu Dhabi opener next week.
Chung, a 2018 Australian Open semifinalist, was the final man added to the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, set for December 19-21st at Abu Dhabi's International Tennis Centre.

ATP Finals champion Stefanos Tsitsipas will face Gael Monfils in the opening quarterfinal match of the exhibition event set for Thursday, December 19th at 4 p.m. local time. Medvedev will play Chung in the second quarterfinal following the Tsitsipas vs. Monfils match.
World No. 1 Rafael Nadal, who has a quarterfinal bye, will play either Medvedev, in what would be a rematch of the US Open final, or Chung in the semifinals.
Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic, who also enjoys an opening bye, will play the winner of the Tsitsipas vs. Monfils match.
The 12th edition of the exhibition event, which will feature four of the world's top six-ranked players, will climax with the final on Saturday, December 21st.
