Maria Sharapova will take another competitive step in her comeback this month.

Reigning Olympic gold medalist Monica Puig will play 2012 Olympic silver medalist Sharapova in the inaugural Monica Puig Invitational. The exhibition match is scheduled for December 15th at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

Sharapova, who is eligible to return to the WTA Tour from her doping suspension in April of 2017, has been training for the exhibition with some group choreography.
