However, Kvitova's status is uncertain given the fact she'll be confined to a boot for the next two weeks of recovery.
Kvitova, who partnered Tomas Berdych to win the 2012 Hopman Cup said she's hopeful she won't be forced to delay the start of her 2017 in this Instagram post.
The Czech Republic are in Group B of the eight-team Hopman Cup event along with reigning champion Australia, Spain and the United States.
Daria Gavrilova and Nick Kyrgios aim to defend their Hopman Cup championship for Australia.
Lara Arruabarrena and Feliciano Lopez lead Spain, while CoCo Vandeweghe and Jack Sock represent the United States.
The Czech Republic will open the Hopman Cup on January 1st against the United States.
Roger Federer is also scheduled to make his Hopman Cup return partnering Belinda Bencic for Switzerland, which resides in Group A along with France, Great Britain and Germany.
