Victoria Azarenka's US Open return will have to wait.
The former world No. 1 will miss the Flushing Meadows major due to an ongoing legal custody battle over her eight-month-old son Leo, TMZ reports.

Azarenka's ex-boyfriend and father of her son, Billy McKeague, has filed custody papers in Los Angeles after the couple split last month.
A California judge has ruled Azarenka cannot take baby Leo out of California while the custody case is ongoing.
A decision in the case is not expected until at least October, TMZ reports, preventing Azarenka from playing the US Open, which begins on August 28th.
A two-time US Open finalist in 2012 and 2013, Azarenka has not played the Open since 2015.
The two-time Australian Open champion does not want to leave baby Leo, whom she was breast-feeding up until last month, alone with his father as she doesn't believe McKeague is capable of caring for their son alone, the website reports.
Azarenka's attorney, Laura Wasser, told the judge her client will pay McKeague's airfare and provide him with a New York hotel room throughout the duration of the US Open. However, the judge denied that request, according to TMZ.
Though Azarenka reportedly has a valid custody order from a court in Belarus, the California judge is not deferring to the prior court order.
The 28-year-old Belarusian reached the fourth round of Wimbledon, bowing to second-seeded Simona Halep, 7-6 (3), 6-2.
