(May 8, 2011) It has been done- the king of clay was overthrown by the man with all the confidence in the world. Novak Djokovic is now fighting for the number one spot in the world with his third final win over Rafael Nadal in 2011. Djokovic added to his awesome winning streak on the tour at 32-0 (34-0 including Davis Cup wins) and takes his first Mutua Madrid Open Masters Series title.

Djokovic beat Nadal in two sets 7-5, 6-4. Nadal was able to come back from 0-4 in the first set but that was not enough to rattle Djokovic.  Not to mention that this win took place  on his rival's best surface, Djokovic now  owns six titles on clay and is 90-30 career wins to losses on the surface. This only slightly dents Nadal's winning record on clay to 246-76 but one must question how this will affect Nadal’s confidence...

The Tennis Now poll was- Who can take down Rafa on Clay?- but surely the question has become- Is Nole Stoppable?
