World No. 6 Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Chile’s Cristian Garin 7-5 3-6 6-4 to set up a final with Andrey Rublev on Sunday at the Hamburg European Open.

Rublev, who owns two titles and ranks second on the ATP win list in 2020 with a record of 24-6, defeated Norway’s Casper Ruud 6-4 6-2 to reach the Hamburg final for the second year in a row.

Ruud, 20

Ruud, who faces Japan’s Yuichi Sugita in the first round at Roland Garros, had to have his shoulder worked on by a trainer during the match. He has had a solid season, and reached back-to-back semifinals in Rome and Hamburg over the last two weeks.

Tsitsipas, who snapped Garin’s undefeated run of 5-0 in semifinals, has a 1-1 record with Rublev. The Greek defeated the Russian at the NextGenATP finals in 2018, but fell to Rublev in straight sets at the US Open last year.

Rublev will face Sam Querrey in the first round of Roland Garros as the 13th seed. Tsitsipas, seeded fifth, will face Spain’s Jaume Munar.
