It’s called kindness. It’s called courage. It’s called #KinderGirlWorldDay.

Today’s the day you can use the hashtag, founded by Fearlessly Girl, and their leading spokeswoman, Madison Keys, to promote good on the internet.

Keys has been a longtime advocate of a kindler, gentler internet and she has courageously taken on cyberbullying in her personal and professional life for years. That’s why her alliance with Fearlessly Girl has been so effective and such a joy to watch.

Think about it: We all want to do our part to eliminate the scourge of deconstructive bullying, negativity and creepiness that regularly takes place on social media, but how many of us are actually doing anything?

Enter superwoman Keys to save the day. Or at least try to—and that’s something. We should all take our cues and do the same.

"I have a right to stand up for myself and so does any other person who's subjected to online abuse. We don't have to sit quietly and take it,” says Keys, who has taken the reins of the movement from Paris, where she is practicing for Roland Garros and celebrating #KinderGirlWorldDay.

The American’s actions have moved the needle on Twitter, inspired countless posts, and there are myriad good vibes emerging from every corner.
