Petra Kvitova stretched her WTA-best winning streak to 10 matches with a straight-sets victory over Elina Svitolina in Doha. The Czech is now 7-1 against Svitolina and will face Julia Goerges in the quarterfinal.

With her victory over Monica Niculescu, Caroline Wozniacki passed Agnieszka Radwanska for the all-time lead in wins at Doha. The Dane also assured herself a shot at the WTA’s top ranking, but she will lose the top spot in Simona Halep outperforms her by one round in Doha.

Wozniacki also improve to 9-0 against Niculescu with the win.

Roger Federer has won 62 of 69 first serve points and pitched in 17 aces in his first two rounds at Rotterdam. He has yet to face a break point.

Andrey Rublev improve to 4-0 lifetime against Damir Dzumhur with a 6-4, 7-6(4) win over the World No.29. The 20-year-old Russian will face Grigor Dimitrov on Friday in a rematch if their third-round match at the Australian Open. Rublev did upset Dimitrov at last year’s U.S. Open en route to the quarterfinals. The pair have split their two previous meetings.

18-year-old American CiCi Bellis got her first career Top 5 win with a victory over defending champion Karolina Pliskova in Doha. It was her fourth match against a Top 5 opponent, including a 6-1, 6-1 shellacking at the hands of Pliskova at Brisbane this season.

Roger Federer’s record in 2018. The Swiss now owns a career record of 1141-1250. He is only 115 win behind Jimmy Connor’s all-time record of 1256.
