Diego Matos has spent recent years playing Futures events and now his professional future is very much in doubt.

The 30-year-old Brazilian veteran has been provisionally suspended from the pro circuit as part of an investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit into "alleged breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program."

Matos' suspension is effective immediately.

The native of Porto Alegre, Brazil is currently ranked a career-high No. 244 in doubles after winning four Futures titles in 2019.

Matos is prohibited from competing in, or attending, any sanctioned event organised or recognised by the governing bodies of the sport for the duration of his suspension, the TIU announced.
