Welcome to the Top 10, David Goffin.

The Belgian rolled past France’s Pierre-Hugues Herbert, 6-1, 6-3, to book his spot in the ABN Amro final in Rotterdam and ensure his spot in the ATP’s Top 10 on Monday.

The 26-year-old Rocourt, Belgium native will become the first man from his country to crack the Top 10.

Goffin improved to 12-3 on the season and reached his second final by dominating Herbert from start to finish. The Frenchman, who notched his first ATP Top 10 win in Friday’s quarterfinal when he defeated Dominic Thiem, held in the first game of the opening set but subsequently dropped the next six games to lose the set.

Goffin rifled a backhand return winner to seal the set, and won 10 of 16 second-serve return points in the opening stanza.

Herbert held to draw even in the second set at 1-all but Goffin took off from there, breaking decisively for 3-1 when a Goffin forehand proved to be too difficult to handle for a net-rushing Herbert.

Herbert would engineer back-to-back holds from there but Goffin finished festivities with a hold, converting his second match point as a Herbert backhand sailed wide.

Goffin will meet France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final. Tsonga leads the lifetime head-to-head with Goffin, 3-2, but the Belgian took their only hardcourt meeting in 2014.
