The Olympic gold medal was on the line the last time Andy Murray met Juan Martin del Potro on court in Rio.
The Grand Slam champions will renew their rivalry tomorrow aiming to push their nations toward another prestigious prize as Great Britain hosts Argentina in the Davis Cup semifinals.

The draw for this weekend's semifinal in Glasgow was conducted today and presents a blockbuster opening match between Wimbledon champion Murray and 2009 US Open champion del Potro.
The match is a rematch of last month's Olympic gold-medal match in which Murray denied a brave-hearted del Potro, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, 7-5, to make history as the first man to successfully defend the Olympic singles gold medal.
The British No. 1 has won six of eight meetings with the 62nd-ranked del Potro, including five of their six hard-court clashes.
Fresh off his run to the US Open fourth round, 55th-ranked Briton Kyle Edmund will face Guido Pella in tomorrow's second singles that could be critical to the outcome. In their lone prior meeting, Pella edged Edmund, 6-7 (3), 6-4, 7-5, at Indian Wells last March.
Andy Murray and older brother Jamie Murray, who were undefeated in three doubles matches together leading Great Britain to the 2015 Davis Cup, are scheduled to play Federico Delbonis and Leonardo Mayer in Saturday's doubles though both captains have the option to change their doubles teams.
In Sunday's opening reverse singles, Andy Murray is set to face Pella for the first time. Del Potro has drawn Edmund in the final match of the best-of-five match semifinal. Edmund clinched Britain's 3-2 victory over host Serbia in the Davis Cup quarterfinals.
Andy Murray clinched Great Britain's 3-1 victory over host Belgium in the 2015 Davis Cup final to seal the Brits first Davis Cup championship in 79 years.
The winner of the Argentina-Great Britain semifinal will face either France or Croatia in the November 25-27th Davis Cup final.
