Stosur improved to 3-0 against Mladenovic, including 2-0 on clay, breaking three times in the final two sets to come from a set down. Stosur saved all five break points she faced in the final two sets as well, holding on to secure her first title on clay since 2010.

"There were some tricky moments in the third set - she had a few points to get it back on serve - but I'm happy I was able to keep it up and close it out,” Stosur said, according to WTATennis.com, “and it's always nice to win a title, that's for sure.”

The former Roland Garros finalist will now head to Paris, where she is slated to face American Madison Brengle in the first round.
