Teliana Pereira turned up the aggression and her hit way into history on the red clay of Florianopolis.
Nearly untouchable on serve in the final set, Pereira reeled off the final five games beating Annika Beck, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1, in the Brasil Tennis Cup final.

Pereira became the second Brazilian in the Open Era to win a WTA title in Brazil, joining Neige Dias, who did it in 1987.
The fourth-seeded Pereira served 89 percent and won 16 of 19 points played on her serve in the decider in collecting her second title of the season.
Pereira did not drop a set winning her maiden title on the red clay of Bogotá in April.
The 78th-ranked Brazilian had retired from her last meeting with Beck in Bad Gastein last month. She broke three times to take the opening set. Beck converted her fourth set point to take the second set and level the match.
