Ons Jabeur currently sits in the last qualifying spot when it comes to making the WTA Finals at Guadalajara, but her qualification for the WTA’s season-ending championships is out of her hands now as the top Tunisian and current World No.8 has pulled out of this week’s Courmayeur Ladies Open with an elbow injury.

Jabeur is currently 139 points ahead of Anett Kontaveit for the final spot. The Estonian is currently the No.2 seed in the Transulvania Open draw in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She’s got her work cut out for her, however – Kontaveit would need to win the title in order to pass Jabeur.
