Alexander Zverev could be a father in the new year.

In a new interview with Gala Magazine, 27-year-old model Brenda Patea, Zverev's ex-girlfriend, says she's 20 weeks pregnant with Zverev's child.

"I am 20 weeks pregnant and I am expecting a child from Alex," Patea told Gala.

The couple were together for about a year before splitting in August. Patea says the pregnancy did not cause the split and asserts she has no plans to share custody with the 23-year-old German.

"That is out of the question for me," Patea said. "The child was not planned, but I will do everything to ensure that it grows up in a harmonious environment. I am in the fortunate position of being able to raise the child on my own."
