Watch: Tsitsipas Plays Pan-Fried Tennis


Stefanos Tsitsipas cooks on court even without a racket in hand.

Tsitsipas joined Denis Shapovalov and Taylor Fritz playing pan-fried tennis in Stockholm.

The trio traded their racquets for frying pans to take on some Swedish juniors.

"It was an unusual experience; I only use it to make pancakes, but today I use it for another purpose," Tsitsipas said. "To play tennis, which was very interesting.

"It was pretty heavy I can say. But to me it just didn't matter. I was just trying to adjust to the new conditions and put in as many balls as I could because that was the biggest challenge that I have today."

The third-seeded Greek has a first-round bye and will play either John Millman or Peter Gojowczyk in his Stockholm Open opener.
