Andreja Klepac and Maria Jose Sanchez Martinez have qualified for the WTA Finals Singapore. The Slovenian-Spanish duo are the seventh team of eight to qualify. They began their collaboration at the start of the 2017, and recently won the Toray Pan Pacific Open title and also reached the quarterfinals at this year’s U.S. Open.

The duo also made round of 16 appearances at the other three majors.

Sanchez Martinez, 35, is making her second appearance at the WTA Finals—she won the title in 2009 alongside compatriot Nuria Llagostera Vives.

Klepac, 31, is making her WTA Finals debut.

In other Singapore qualification news, the pairing of Lucie Hradecka and Katerina Siniakova, who qualified for the WTA Finals earlier this season, have been forced to withdraw due to a left-knee injury from Hradecka. Only one qualification spot remains for doubles.
