Second Serve

Watch: Kyrgios Tweener Time

Nick Kyrgios not only knocked off second-ranked Novak Djokovic, 7-6, 7-5, in the Acapulco quarterfinals.

He put on quite a show doing it.

More: Kyrgios Stuns Djokovic

Kyrgios, who also scored victories in his first meetings with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, has a history of bringing his best against elite players.

Still, the explosive Aussie delivered some exhibition-style shots against Djokovic, including this one.

Delivering one of the best serving performances of his career, Kyrgios cracked 25 aces—23 more aces than his Grand Slam opponent—served 73 percent and did not drop serve.

That relentless pressure may well have contributed to Djokovic tightening-up in an error-strewn final game when Kyrgios capped the only broke of the match with a forehand winner to close an impressive performance.
