Nick Kyrgios has once again taken aim at Alexander Zverev, and this time thrown in Dominic Thiem and Novak Djokovic for good measure.

Thiem defended Zverev in an article that was posted at TT.com, saying that he felt the German was being treated harshly be people who were reacting to the fact that the 23-year-old was filmed at a party less than a week after he posted on social media that he’d be self-isolating for 14 days.

"It was his mistake, but I don't understand why a lot of people want to interfere," he said, according to Lukaz Zahrer, Austrian journalist. "Kyrgios did a lot of mistakes himself. It would be better for him to come clean instead of criticising others."

Kyrgios wasted no time in hitting back, when he read those comments.

“What are you talking about @ThiemDomi?” he posted on Twitter. “Mistakes like smashing rackets? Swearing? Tanking a few matches here or there? Which everyone does? None of you have the intellectual level to even understand where I’m coming from. I’m trying to hold them accountable.”

He continued: “This just shows what a joke @ThiemDomi, @AlexZverev and @DjokerNole think this is,” he wrote. “2 of them partying like potato’s during a global pandemic. People losing lives, loved ones and friends, and then Thiem standing up for the ‘mistake’ these guys are the ‘top’ of our sport. SMH.”
