Coric Jabs Kyrgios

The Adria Tour is over.

But the shots keep coming.

More: Dimitrov Still Struggling After Coronavirus

Nick Kyrgios criticized the reckless behavior of the Novak Djokovic-led Adria Tour, which saw players and fans mingling without masks and exhibit a lack of social distancing.

World No. 1 Djokovic, his wife, Jelena Djokovic, and Tour players Borna Coric, Grigor Dimitrov and Viktor Troicki all tested positive for Coronavirus causing the charity exhibition event's cancellation.

Kyrgios called it "a boneheaded decision" to play the Tour in the first place.

Now Coric is firing back at Kyrgios.

In an interview with the Croatian publication Jutarnji, Coric dismissed Kyrgios' criticism deriding the outspoken Aussie as "a general after the battle."

“I read what he wrote, but I don't care, ” Coric said. "He enjoys being a general after battle. Coming from someone else, I might have understood, but Kyrgios ... It's not really realistic.

"It's his style, he works like that, there is no problem. Zverev behaved badly, but I don't understand the need to criticize a colleague like that. I wouldn't have. But, again, it's Kyrgios."

Coric's comments come a week after Dominic Thiem, who also played the Tour, but did not contract Coronavirus, showed his displeasure with criticism "coming out of Australia" in an interview with CNN.
