Novak Djokovic is going from one big event starting with "W" to another in his life.
Wimbledon - Djokovic Says Men's Final Was Best He Ever Contested
The world No. 1 is scheduled to marry his fiancée Jelena Ristic this week at an exclusive resort along the Adriatic Coast. The New York Post reports that the Aman Sveti Stefan resort in Montenegro will be the site of the wedding with a projected 100-plus guest list.
Who will be on the guest list is still up in the air. Serbian media, who originally reported that Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic would attend, now claim neither will. Other tennis stars, including Andy Murray and Maria Sharapova, were also speculated as attendees, but nothing official in terms of guests has been announced.
Djokovic first hinted back in January that he would get married before Wimbledon. Though rumors circulated that Djokovic postponed the wedding to focus on Wimbledon, that was never proven either. Now, July 9 or July 10 is thought to be the scheduled date for the big day.
Djokovic and Ristic became engaged in September 2013. Ristic, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, is due later this October.
After defeating Roger Federer in five sets to win his second WImbledon title, Djokovic dedicated the victory, in part, to both Ristic and his new baby.
