Friday night’s upset loss to Andreas Seppi was as disappointing as they come for Roger Federer, but the Swiss maestro still had some magical moments during the four-set encounter with the Italian.

Federer took a page from the Nick Kyrgios playbook when he hit this “cheeky” ‘tweener in the second set against Seppi.



That piece of brilliance may have been outshined by Federer’s epic forehand shank, which flew about 30 rows up in the crowd and was caught by an alert fan. It wasn’t pretty, but it was pretty awesome (see below).
