The 25-time Grand Slam champion, who retired at the end of 2017, returns as Swiss coach working with captain Heinz Guenthardt.

Hingis reunites with two of her former doubles partners and good friends, Belinda Bencic and Timea Bacsinszky.

The former world No. 1 partnered Bacsinszky to win the doubles silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Hingis, who has mentored Bencic, played her final Fed Cup match alongside Bencic in a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Belarus in the 2017 semifinals.

The Swiss squad got into the winter Olympics spirit with a game of charades.

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova opens the tie in Prague tomorrow against Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic.

Barbora Strycova faces Bencic in the second singles match.

Kvitova is set to face Bencic in Sunday's reverse singles followed by Strycova vs. Golubic in the fourth singles match.

The winner of the Czech Republic vs. Switzerland tie will take on either 2017 finalist Belarus or Germany in the April 21-22nd semifinals.
