Master multi-tasker Naomi Osaka adds two new roles to her ever-expanding resume: bikini model and designer.
The four-time Grand Slam champion has joined forces with a new design doubles partner—LA-based Frankies Bikinis—to launch her first ever swimwear collection, which debuts online in May.
The brand shared these shots of Osaka wearing a striking pink swimsuit sporting a matching pink wig.
The world No. 2 said designing swimwear for women of all shapes and sizes was one reason why she's partnered with Frankies Bikinis.
“I think it’s really important for brands to design for all women, not just certain sizes or shapes or body types,” Osaka said in a statement. “For me, it’s important to align myself with brands that make inclusivity a priority.”
The Frankies Bikinis x Naomi Osaka collection is set to debut on May 10th.
The collection will feature both one-piece swimwear and bikini separates in sizes XS-XL, including some pieces in 2XL.
The 23-year-old Osaka has been busy in the past year expanding her brand.
The second-seeded Osaka is scheduled to face qualifier Misaki Doi in an all-Japanese opener at the Mutua Madrid Open on Friday.
